Roy Turner

I have made a lot of films since the 1960s, most of my recent ones in Super-8, but a growing number in digital.
I have entered the competition for the TEN BEST, organised by ‘Amateur Cine Enthusiast’ Magazine until 2003, but now unfortunately gone since the closing of the magazine. I have had various awards up to the Best Film in 2002 with them (see ‘Cheesden — Thirty Years On’).
I am currently Chairman of Bury Cine Society, a small but very enthusiastic group of movie enthusiasts. I am hoping to put descriptions of my most recent films and digital productions on this site. The ones up to now are listed on the left and you can watch a small number of them, or extracts of them, on video links, best on broadband and courtesy of Google or YouTube. Just click on any titles which you want to read about.
There are links in the text to relevant places and information, so please use them as you wish.
Thanks for your interest. Enjoy yourself.
